3 Ways to Get Back to Feeling Like You This Season

"I'm so effing tired. I don't know how I'm going to take care of my kids today." "My head hurts so damn bad and the kids screaming isn't helping." "I just blew up at the kids for the fourth time today, why am I so pissy?"

Have any of these comments rolled through your head?

These can all be signs that your liver needs a little more attention. We are exposed to so many things in our day to day lives. Chemicals in our food and air, medications, alcohol, even things like carrying some extra baby weight can make our livers work harder.

So what are some quick and easy ways you can support your liver today? I thought you'd never ask. :)

  1. "Eat your broccoli!" I bet you've said that a time or two. But did you know that broccoli and its cousins like brussels sprouts and cauliflower actually help support liver function? Pretty cool huh!

  2. Eat more Flaxseed. So this one is becoming more available in mainstream stores. Flaxseed helps not only support your liver, but reduce some inflammation along the way too.

  3. "Eat your fruit!" Both berries (of all colors) and citrus fruits help support your liver and help it do it's job more effectively.

Do you want a bonus action? A little extra credit? Sure you do!

Drink half your weight in ounces of purified water each day. This is a game changer on so many fronts.

There you have it! As my kids would say, "Easy peasy, lemon squeezy."
