But what do you want?

How often do we get to ponder this question?
Our lives are busy, chaotic, we are constantly running to get things done and always feel more behind than when we started.
How then do we expect our lives to lead us to where we actually want to go?
It's pretty hard, right?
The famous Yogi Berra once said, "If you don't know where you're going, you'll end up someplace else."
This is probably one of the hardest questions to wrestle with. What do you want?
Not because we don't know what we like, or what we want. But we haven't spent the time figuring it out.
We haven't taken the time to explore the situation both internally and externally. This exploration (nearly 100%) of the time yields solutions. Solutions that are staring you in the face, but you just don't realize it yet.
Next time something is bugging you in life ask yourself some of these questions:
What do I want to accomplish?
How do I want this situation to look for me?
What will be different when I accomplish this?
In a month or two months, or a year-what change do I want to have made?
These questions are just examples of ones that can help you get off of "start." After all "starting" is half the battle. Do that and you are already half-way towards your goal.
This is just a small window into what we cover at our coaching sessions. What other questions do you have about coaching?
