Essential Oils for the Dentist

Going to the Dentist isn't something we usually talk about. But for many adults and lots of kiddos, this can be a really stressful appointment.
Even though our Dentist is super fun and the staff are incredible, sometimes my Kiddos are apprehensive to say the least. It's times like this I wonder, "What would I do without my bag of oils to turn to?"
On a recent trip my son was nervous before we even got in the car to go to the Dentist. So I started early with him. I put a diluted (one drop CPTG oil to 1 tsp Fractionated Coconut Oil) drop of Balance on the bottoms of his feet before I put his socks on. Balance is amazing at grounding and promoting relaxation. You could almost see the tension releasing from his face.
On the car ride over, I diffused CPTG Wild Orange. doTerra's Wild Orange essential oil will brighten even the darkest of rainy days up here in Southeast Alaska where we get over 200 days of rain every year. It is a staple at our house!
Of course with all the COVID things going around, we all used doTerra's Touch version of OnGuard. This oil is wonderful at boosting our immune systems. It's a blend of clove, rosemary, eucalyptus, and others and smells spicey/citrusy. All working hard to kill harmful bacteria, mold, and viruses.
I always say, take care of your immune system and it will take care of you!
