Will Essential Oils Work for You?

For a long time I thought essential oils and their power was a hoax. That they didn't actually work. They didn't actually produce the results I was after. Really, they were just another thing that smelled nice and I could get candles cheaper than I could get oils......

Boy was I naive about the truth behind essential oils. It just took finding a quality brand that made purity AND potency their mission. As well as raising up our fellow humans across the globe through their co-impact sourcing. But that is a post for another time.

No what really matters is how God has gotten it all so perfect. So perfect that us humans still can't mimic the intricacies of how all the compounds work together with our cells. Therefore we can't be messing with them once they are harvested from the plants. doTerra's Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade (CPTG) testing process is how I know the oils we use are not messed with.

Unless you have your own lab, company testing is the only way one can know this for sure, since there is no one regulating the industry. It is why the brand you use matters. You must, beyond a shadow of a doubt, trust the company and what they are telling you. (If you know me at all, you know trusting companies isn't in my nature. They have to go through a lot of hoops to gain my trust.) Depending on what company you go with, you could be unknowingly putting your family at risk. The transparency of the CPTG process and the assuredness we get from all the 3rd party testing is what drew us to this company in the first place.

We as humans, can make most of the compounds found in oils in a lab. But and it's a big BUT we can't make them all. We don't even know them all! Plus what is made in a lab produces compounds that are backwards in orientation (chirality) from what is found in nature and subsequently what our bodies can recognize. (Hence my past experience of trying less than pure oils and not seeing the results I was after. And I tried them from all different brands back then.)

Our bodies recognize the natural forms because these compounds bind to specific receptor sites on our cells. These receptors then initiate a response within the cell through the various networks, influencing cellular function based on how they activate the kinase networks.

You can think of it like a lock and key. You can only unlock your front door by using your key in the right orientation. It has to line up correctly to open the door. Nature is the only one that produces the essential oil compounds in the right orientation every time. Man-made version of the oils (synthetic adulteration) is like trying to open your door with a backwards key.

This monumental effort takes time and a whole lot of money.
